Customs & Trade Specialist - PVH Corp.-2

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for specific customs compliance programs including cross functional work with merchandising/operations teams, corporate finance, US Customs & Border Protection and third party customs brokers.

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the Job:

  Primarily but not limited to apparel, travel goods and footwear classification.

  Update and maintain pre-classed styles in database.
  
  
• 
  Technical understanding of ABI & ACE programs supporting customs entry process.
  
  
• 
  Assist and research trade related issues for both US and international programs.
  
  
• 
  Assist in providing guidance or escalating of US and Canadian labeling requirements.
  
  
• 
  Assist in obtaining product test and analysis to support classification provisions.
  
  
• 
  Assist Compliance Director on all customs compliance issues where necessary.
  
  
• 
  Ability to perform analysis of customs entry data as required.
  
  

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience:

• 
  2-5 years of related experience
  
  
• 
  Primarily Apparel footwear and travel goods classification experience, but general understanding of HTSUS tariff expected. Familiarity with ACH and ACE concepts helpful.
  
  

Education:

• 
  College preferred
  
  

Knowledge and Skills required:

• 
  Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
  
  
• 
  Systems knowledge in MS Office, ACS, PDM, PLM, Island Pacific are helpful. Technical knowledge of apparel attributes, customs regulations and requirements are essential
  
  

Pay Range: $70,000 - $87,500
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
