Position Summary:This position is responsible for specific customs compliance programs including cross functional work with merchandising/operations teams, corporate finance, US Customs & Border Protection and third party customs brokers.Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the Job:
Qualifications and Experience:Experience:
Primarily but not limited to apparel, travel goods and footwear classification.
Update and maintain pre-classed styles in database.
Technical understanding of ABI & ACE programs supporting customs entry process.
Assist and research trade related issues for both US and international programs.
Assist in providing guidance or escalating of US and Canadian labeling requirements.
Assist in obtaining product test and analysis to support classification provisions.
Assist Compliance Director on all customs compliance issues where necessary.
Ability to perform analysis of customs entry data as required.
Education:Knowledge and Skills required:
2-5 years of related experience
Primarily Apparel footwear and travel goods classification experience, but general understanding of HTSUS tariff expected. Familiarity with ACH and ACE concepts helpful.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
Systems knowledge in MS Office, ACS, PDM, PLM, Island Pacific are helpful. Technical knowledge of apparel attributes, customs regulations and requirements are essential
Pay Range: $70,000 - $87,500
