POSITION SUMMARY:

The Merchandising Strategy Associate is directly responsible for collecting and analyzing data to help evaluate opportunities and make actionable recommendations by building accurate and timely reports & recaps in support of the Director of Merchandising Strategy. By fostering productive cross-functional relationships with internal partners across the brand, you will provide critical analytical and strategic planning support, as well as drive synergies and operational project management.

Overall, you will focus on supporting strategic growth opportunities, while maintaining operational innovation and brand excellence with a strong focus on customer, product and analytics - from initial strategy development through to execution. Analytical thinking, problem solving, project and stakeholder management and ensuring the highest quality of work are essential elements of this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create, maintain and produce accurate merchandising standard reporting using Excel, Word and appropriate retail systems that facilitate the accurate execution of merchandising strategies
  • Develop new spreadsheet-based tools & templates for merchandising as requested by the Director of Merch Strategy
  • Assist Director of Merch Strategy in development of key merchandising strategic initiatives by providing new analysis and recaps to support the budgets decks, quarterly executive management meetings & weekly senior leadership recaps
  • Be a master of execution and project management, holding the team accountable and ensuring that deadlines are met across high-priority, cross-functional projects
  • Owns execution of assigned business projects and provides support for a variety of initiatives across the enterprise, prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
  • Support the ownership of topline merchant recaps that help facilitate the accurate execution of merchandising strategies
  • Provide ad-hoc activities and analysis as needed


QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:
  • 2-4 years of experience in Merchandising


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree


Skills:
  • Strong foundation in merchandising fundamentals (i.e. retail math) Ability to analyze metrics, develop data driven insights and make recommendations
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills with a high standard of data accuracy
  • Strong facilitation and project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Flexible, able to perform and thrive in a highly dynamic work environment
  • Independent, hands-on, able to prioritize, results-oriented and structured in their work approach, while being able to perform at a high level in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be a strong collaborator with cross-functional partners
  • Ability to maintain poise and a positive attitude in a challenging environment
  • Ambitious, highly motivated and with a focus on developing professional growth
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Excel, Power point, Project, Word

Pay Range: $82,000 - $103,000
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
