We are looking for an energetic, assertive, and experienced Assistant Showroom Manager to join our UK team, based in central London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a start-up business from launch in the UK which will expand on its strong record of running successful events in Paris (£50m turnover in 2018).

ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES

As an Assistant Showroom Manager, you will take responsibility for a showroom environment that is constantly changing. Due to our unique business model, you will work with both merchandise and retail space which will change every week. You will report to the Showroom Manager and work closely with each relevant Account Manager to ensure each sale event is a success.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

Floor Management

  • Managing and processing weekly stock delivery
  • Coordinating the logistics including managing delivery specifications, inventory and stock returns.
  • Preparing the zoning/merchandising and product replenishment
  • Preparing product pricing/tagging
  • Managing access to the sales based on the client typology (queues outside and at tills).
  • Ensuring each sale is on target to achieve its commercial objectives.
  • Managing the zoning/merchandising and product replenishment.
  • Ensuring the showroom always remains in pristine condition.
  • Health and safety/risk management/loss prevention.

 

Team Management

  • You will manage a varying number of permanent and temporary staff depending on the size of the sale (between 7 to 25 people) and ensure they understand all Arlettie procedures and processes.
  • You will assist the management team with resourcing, development, and performance management.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3 years experience as a Floor Manager in an outlet/discounted store (ie: Bicester Village, TK Maxx, etc..) or flagship store with high volumes (ie: Zara, Topshop, H&M).
  • Strong visual merchandising skills.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills.
  • Proven experience in successfully leading a team.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Can-do attitude.
