Architect Project Manager, Visual Merchandising

JOB PURPOSE

Partnering with the merchant teams and corporate VM team to ensure the alignment of product with core VM principles from the showroom to all points of sale.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities

• Manage the global VM production schedule for the delivery of projects from briefing through to final delivery
• Prepare and communicate detailed production schedules, timing plans and estimating, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers
• Contribute to production workflow processes to enhance and increase efficiency and quality of deliverables
• Manage annual budgets, monthly trackers, new supplier set-up and timely invoice processing with accounts
• Troubleshoot any work-flow issues and escalate them to senior team members where necessary
• Support the wider VM team by managing resource and the intake of campaign projects
• Working alongside the window design team, confidently controlling traffic and creative requests, keeping the production log and scheduling to ensure creative is designed with regional budgets in mind
• Support Senior VM Project Manager to assess long-range project pipeline for VM project team with regular reviews of resource, flagging to the business where resourcing will be challenged

PERSONAL PROFILE

• Exceptionally organised and experience in managing workflows and production pipelines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships across the business
• Multi-channel in your thinking with the ability to manage multiple activities under pressure with effective prioritisation and strong time management skills
• Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft literate, with a working knowledge of project management systems
• Experience managing projects, agencies, and local vendors in international markets preferred
• Experience in store design, architecture or creative production, with knowledge of material costings/manufacturing techniques.
• Ideally some knowledge of sustainable materials and manufacturing techniques
• Strong understanding of the luxury industry with experience gained in an agency or client side
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and collaborative/open-minded working style
• Experienced in using an online project management tool on a day-to-day basis
• Knowledge of all the relevant software including but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel & Office 365
