With the current & forecasted growth of Bluebella we are looking for an energetic Logistics Assistant with a great customer service ethos, an excellent attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you should have some experience of working in a fast-paced fashion business preferably with a multi-channel brand & an understanding of critical paths.
The Logistics Assistant is responsible for raising & maintaining supplier purchase orders in our system to critical path deadlines. You will provide regular & adhoc reporting to the wider business, liaise with the warehouse to ensure optimum order fulfilment and plan & buy consumables for the company
Role & Responsibilities
To manage & administer all aspects of Purchase Order maintenance
Submitting purchase orders in system and to suppliers, splitting where necessary by location
Chasing suppliers and liaising on queries, updates, delivery dates etc and communicating internally to ensure everyone up to date.
Updating purchase orders with shipping amendments in timely manner
Updating systems & communicating to wider team stock booked in
Updating & maintaining all PO trackers
Provide regular reporting for wider business on monthly & weekly basis inc. delivery schedule, returns reporting of B2C business.
Provide adhoc reporting as required to proactively manage flow of stock into business & out
Consumables Planning and Purchase
To forecast business consumables such as hangers, packaging, gift wrap etc
To research and source the best supplier and the best price for the business.
To monitor supply and levels of stock to be able to manage re-orders
B2C & Wholesale optimum order fulfilment
To provide daily/regular stock reconciliation between system and warehouse,
Liaison with B2C customer services, warehouse & couriers to understand & help resolve issues in relation to B2C despatch & returns
Proactive discussion with warehouse regarding peak trading & timescales
Liaison with wholesale team, warehouse & couriers to understand & help resolve issues in relation to pick & despatch within deadlines.
Skills & Experience
Excellent time management & attention to detail
Strong analytical & numerical skills
Confident with formulas & functions used in Excel
Great at working in a fast-paced environment & to multiple tight deadlines
Existing knowledge of Netsuite would be great
Some experience of working for a multi-channel fashion business with different stock demands
