Job Details
Zalando's People & Organisation (P&O) team is looking for a Senior Expert for International Employment. As a subject matter expert, the role provides support and advisory services in all matters relating to the various types of working arrangements relating to employee mobility - such as international and cross-border setups. You will be a Senior Expert within our People Products function which focuses on designing and delivering innovative people products for Zalando employees.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
- You will help shape and program manage our International Employment strategy that aligns our talent with our business growth, innovation and improvement.
- You will create and manage streamlined processes and ensure alignment with key stakeholders both internal and external to Zalando.
- You will provide leadership and ensure compliant processes and alignment with local and international employee laws and regulations, and maintain in-depth knowledge of local, global and federal employment laws.
- You will provide specialist advice on business expansion solutions.
- Continuously assess and identify operational improvements with a focus on flexibility and operational efficiency, ensuring all processes and policies are customer focused, cost effective and efficient.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
- You have a Masters' degree or a Bachelor's degree in HR (or related field); and a minimum of 8 years' professional experience in HR..
- Your experience must include working in an international HR role for a large, complex organisation, preferably a high growth, product or service led (ideally tech) organisation.
- You have substantial people partnering and operational expertise.
- You have a solid knowledge of Global Mobility which includes immigration, tax, labour law, social security and mobility practices for different countries.
- You have an ability to grasp complex issues, apply logical thinking and to resolve operational issues, while working proactively, with a sense of ownership.
- You have excellent proficiency in English (German is a plus) .
