Job Summary:

The Accessories Assistant will be responsible for supporting the growing Accessories and Footwear department by working on the 360-product lifecycle of multiple categories including jewelry, handbags, footwear, hats, belts, and scarves.  In this role you will work closely with internal cross-functional teams in Product Development, Merchandising and Design as well as with overseas vendors. You will maintain in-house product databases to ensure product information is updated timely and accurately. The Accessories Assistant is responsible for overall sample management and organization, product presentation meetings, and will assist in communicating key deadlines to cross-functional teams to ensure they are met. This role is hybrid with an expectation of 3 -4 days in the office per week.




  • Assist with organizing/labeling and maintaining the accessories archive
  • Organize and keep track of all development and market samples; including sample logs & follow-up for returns and turnover after-market
  • Setup conference rooms and showroom for meetings and market as needed
  • Support market preparation including: Updating DeSL, creation & maintenance of shot & color correction list for market photo shoot
  • Conduct and present competitive research on pricing & assortment
  • Conduct photo maintenance and organization to prepare entry into our ERP system, BlueCherry
  • Send internal memos of all line sheet updates during market

Product Development

  • Prep for and attend Product Development meetings, take notes, and photograph samples / prototypes as needed
  • Organize images and files in our Product Development drive and folders Track, ship, and unpack international shipments of new accessories and footwear samples
  • Update our master development excel files with daily changes
  • Organize raw materials and create seasonal material cards of available colors
  • Log all Product Development details for the copywriting team and archive in DeSL Assist in building excel sample and prototype orders to send to external vendors
  • Submit product development invoices to be approved Additional tasks as needed

Desired Background:

  • 0–2 years of experience Bachelor’s degree required

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Rhino a plus

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range for this position in New York City is $42,000 – $58,500 annually; base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, and location.
