JOB PURPOSE
To ensure all product is developed and engineered to meet and exceed functional requirements and standards, and is fit to delight the customer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and lead the team (capability and execution) to ensure that appropriately high levels of engineering standards are achieved
• Ensure all engineering activities are effectively executed, including:
• Development/ Prototype
• Cost engineering;
• Preproduction Sample Approval
• Testing & industrialisation
• Root cause analysis testing & response;
• Risk assessment;
• Size & Fit evaluation and execution;
• Construction evaluation
• Ensure achievement of global regulatory compliance of RTW products
• Ensure the effective documentation and capture of product technical information
• Timely, robust, customer focused decision making
• Innovation in the technical development of product
• Support the Sourcing teams with vendor selection, monitoring vendor performance, evolving vendor relationships and on-boarding new vendors
• Contribute to the development of technical standards and product manuals
• Establish strong working relationships with interfacing teams and vendors

PERSONAL PROFILE
- Previous experience in Manufacturing, Development & Industrialisation specifically in Ready to Wear/ outerwear essential
- Previous experience Leading a team essential
- Fluent in Italian mandatory
- GSD, Cost Engineering experience
- Size, Fit, Construction & Testing Knowledge
