Work Type: Hybrid 

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

About the role:

The primary purpose of the Product Analyst is to maximise website performance across markets by analysing the customer journey and proposing improvements for an optimised experience. Working in partnership with the eCommerce and Marketing teams you will act as an advocate for the user at all times and support the development of the ME+EM online experience through strategic insights.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Owner of web analytics within the business. Be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data and reports to ensure a high-quality of standards. Work closely with technical teams on all aspects of tagging and tracking across the platform. 
  • Work with our data analyst to evolve our data sets and data pipelines to ensure it is serving the interests of the eCommerce team. Actively contribute to building analytics processes and data-informed culture across the company.
  • Be responsible for creating data-driven and actionable insights to support the eCommerce and Marketing teams, helping to drive consumer engagement and performance by improving quality of decision making and steering direction of website development roadmap.
  • Creation of reporting dashboards to enable eCommerce and Marketing teams to track performance against KPIs. Train colleagues to self-serve.
  • Working closely with the Head of Digital Commerce and Customer Experience and Online Merchandiser to define success criteria for online experience across the customer journey.
  • Analysing product and category performance, working with Online Merchandiser on a weekly basis to implement change and improve experience.
  • Responsible for proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience across all ME+EM websites, considering external best practice and trends. Using qualitative and quantitative data to assess site performance against KPIs and provide recommendations for change to Head of Digital Commerce and Customer Experience .
  • Take a leading role in the Conversion Rate Optimisation program to ensure that optimisation is at the heart of everything that we do. Identify AB testing opportunities to improve site performance and work with CRO agency to deliver tests and document results.
  • Proactive monitoring of site performance and identification of UX issues with tools such as Content Square.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis including presenting results and recommendations in both written and verbal form.

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 years’ practical experience conducting analysis in online, ecommerce or marketing or equivalent, with a demonstrable track record in influencing and delivering business impact using data.
  • Hands-on experience with modern data analytics stack (Snowflake, BigQuery) and MarTech tools (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Optimove) is essential.
  • Experience in testing and experimentation (using techniques such as A/B testing).
  • Proficiency in SQL is essential
  • Strong data visualisation skills and experience creating dashboards with tools such as Tableau, Data Studio, Looker, etc.
  • Experience with Content Square is preferable. 
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  •  A highly numerate and analytical mindset focused on the customer and the development of actionable insight for commercial benefit.
  • Understanding of the ME+EM brand and the luxury womenswear market.
