E-COMMERCE COORDINATOR

We are seeking a highly motivated E-commerce Coordinator to assist the E-commerce Manager in supporting the E-commerce Administrators, coordinating the creation and maintenance of the online product catalogue, delivering excellent customer service to the high quality with which the Margaret Howell brand is synonymous, and supporting the wider E-commerce team as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist the E-commerce Manager by supporting the Administrators, providing training, overseeing the daily workload, and keeping on top of day-to-day housekeeping within the department

- Provide customer support in handling of customer enquiries, including complaints and escalations, over both telephone and email, ensuring our high standards are maintained

- Produce and guide the team in creating the online collections for the UK, EUR and FR websites, ensuring all information is correct and products are launched according to the seasonal critical path under the direction of the E-commerce Manager

- Work with the E-commerce Manager to merchandise the website to maintain the company’s brand aesthetic and maximise sales

- Perform regular site checks to ensure consistency, accuracy and expected functionality, reporting any technical issues where necessary

- Monitor site performance and customer feedback, assisting with the compiling and reporting of service KPIs with the aim of improving the overall customer experience

- Assist with the creation of sales reports as requested to support management

- Regularly update and monitor inventory levels, actively reviewing discrepancies and out of stock notifications

- Liaise with the dispatch team, investigating out of stock issues and other fulfilment problems or delays

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in e-commerce 

- Experience in a customer facing role

- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and numerical skills

- Proficient in Excel 

- Acute attention to detail 

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work accordingly 

- Strong interest in womenswear, menswear and design

DESIRABLE

- An understanding of Google Analytics / website and sales analysis

- Working knowledge of Magento

HOURS

- Full-time - 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday with hybrid working available
