Development Intern

AMIRI is looking for an eager and motivated intern to join the team! Assisting with Development-related duties throughout the course of a 12-week paid internship, our ideal candidate is looking for experience in the fashion industry, particularly in Production or Development.

What You Will Do:

• Organize and maintain developments including line plan boards, blanks, mock-ups, and samples.
• Assemble and maintain presentation boards/racks for meetings.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of development area.
• Gain knowledge of techniques and development for seasonal needs.
• Assist with vendor runs & keeping track of development tests that have been sent out.
• Assist with assigning style numbers and tagging of completed samples.
• Help to ensure dupes (if needed) and pre-pro are finished on time.

Who You Are:

• Ability to multitask, think outside the box, and optimistic.
• Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a strong eye for trends and current industry news/developments.
• Proficient in Excel, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and corporate strategy.
