As a Retail Analyst based in the New York Corporate office you will play a key role within the Retail teams. Reporting directly to the Director of Commercial Analysis and Outlet Merchandising you will assist in the execution of planning & analysis for our retail locations.

The role provides fundamental support in all areas of Retail. The core responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Analyze, prepare, and distribute weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reports to top management and retail team (Global KPI reports, UPC, maintain end of day reports)
  • Weekly meeting with Retail Head to provide insight on reporting
  • Update performance metrics for Customer Advisors, distribute to Store Managers; maintain file with new hires and terminations on an ongoing basis
  • Develop and analyze ad hoc reporting for various focus projects
  • Compile store decks to top management prior to store visits
  • Conduct accurate monthly and quarterly bonus calculations for Retail Management
  • Consolidate Performance Management results for all Boutiques at the start of each month
  • Retail Olympics: update retail team weekly with updated results then post the results on Sharepoint
  • Prepare executive Deck for the CEO quarterly meeting
  • Compile and submit bonus calculations for Retail Management

Business Development:
  • Ensure decision making process alignment with Finance, Retail and Wholesale
  • Develop and maintain cross-divisional relationships.
  • Communicate opportunities where management support is needed on initiatives and strategies.
  • Travel as required

  • Minimum of 2-4 year of merchandise planning, allocation, merchandising, strategy, or business analytics, preferably in the Retail industry and/or Outlet experience
  • Expert command of retail math concepts, applications, and statistical analysis
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, adaptability/flexibility, and initiative
  • Ability to interact and report on business with cross functional teams and across multiple levels of management
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and experience navigating multiple systems and large sets of data
