About the Role

As part of the Contact Center Customer Experience Team at Gap Inc. you will play a critical role in driving customer centricity and ensuring the success and relevance of our businesses. Through rigorous analyses, creative thinking, and deep partnership with the business, you will help develop a customer-focused strategic direction for our brands & company. Contact Center insights will be used across our portfolio of brands, and in various functions, from product development to customer service to marketing, ensuring that the customer is front in center in decision making across our business.

What You'll Do

  • Understand and address root causes to drive change through data analytics and enable better decision making to influence brand decisions.
  • Influence behaviors and collaborate cross functionally to transform the brand experience for customers.
  • Conduct quantitative research and analysis to help determine themes across the brands.
  • Accountable for team performance through teaching, coaching, and providing meaningful feedback to build capabilities and to drive a culture of high performance and engagement.
  • Communicate effectively with business partners, translating complex ideas into compelling, actionable recommendations and data visuals.
  • Conduct quantitative research and analysis and reporting as well as qualitative research and analyses (e.g., speech & text analytics, survey results, CRM cases synthesizing information into themes and recommendations for improvement).
  • Support cross-functional workstreams; able to effectively manage multiple objectives


Who You Are

  • Create with audacity through using strong diagnostic skills in listening, probing and ability to synthesize information into a clear and simple story.  
  • Effective problem-solving and decision quality: Able to use insights to solve problems with effective solutions, an aptitude for critical thinking. strong ability to work with complex and detailed data to drive insights and decisions.
  • Customer Curious: always asks the next question and seeks to understand to spark a new idea based on data.
  • Proven experience in reporting and analysis (query building and data visualizations), MicroStrategy and SQL a plus; ability to quickly acquire new software skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks in parallel.
