Job Details

The Manager of Responsible Sourcing will support the implementation and continuous evolution of the Global Supply Chain's Responsible Sourcing vision. They will play an active role in developing and training of suppliers and will also facilitate communication and capabilities with our internal and external supplier base. The Manager will also be responsible for analyzing, monitoring and enhancing the performance of suppliers regarding Tiffany & Co. Responsible sourcing practices. They will also be seen as a subject matter expert in Sustainability and the vision of Tiffany's evolving responsible sourcing initiatives.

Responsibilities

Responsible Sourcing Standards:
  • Manage the Social and Environmental Accountability (SEA) program. Facilitate the implementation of tools to manage and monitor risk around responsible sourcing for global supply base, third-party suppliers, and factories.
  • Manage compliance requirements including but not limited to RJC certification and De Beers BPP compliance.
  • In partnership with Global Sustainability and Responsible Sourcing Director, create and maintain key metrics for success for the Responsible Sourcing program
  • Build relationships with category sourcing leads to train and embed responsible sourcing vision in all Global Supply Chain Teams. Ensure sourcing and supplier decisions are made with consideration of the Supplier Code of Conduct and all Responsible Sourcing standards.

Supplier Development & Supplier Training:
  • Facilitate supplier engagement activities that educate supply chain partners regarding Responsible Sourcing priorities to advance supplier performance, guaranteeing acceptable standards are being met
  • Own and maintain continuous Responsible Sourcing improvements with Supplier base through data, strategic educational opportunities, and transparent communication updates.
  • Train current and future suppliers on enhancements to the Responsible Sourcing program

Sourcing Protocols and Traceability:
  • Partner with sourcing leads to develop and maintain Tiffany Sourcing Protocols for Key Materials. Responsible for overseeing the Monitoring of these protocols.
  • Partner with the Director of Responsible Sourcing and Sustainability to develop sourcing guidance and traceability strategy on key materials to support sustainability goals.
  • Develop and manage supplier assessments to support sourcing and traceability goals. Perform analysis of business impact and manage supply chain mapping to the raw material source for Key Materials.

Business Effectiveness:
  • Understand and examine relevant business processes and document process flows and procedures as it relates to Responsible Sourcing
  • Identify potential gaps in location based Responsible Sourcing Initiatives compared to Tiffany Standards and immediately address and realign objectives
  • Stay abreast of industry standards for best-in-class responsible sourcing strategies, identify emerging product categories or materials facing issues

Travel:
  • Travel (international and domestic) will be required 10-15% of the time

Qualifications

Required
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Current knowledge of leading responsible sourcing practices and issues
  • Strong communication skills (internal; external with peers and suppliers)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Partnership orientation (ability to work in a team environment and achieve results through collaboration and influence.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess the desire and curiosity to understand emerging trends
  • Robust analytical skills
  • Established experience documenting processes and functional requirements
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), PeopleSoft 8.0
  • Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed by the business

Preferred
  • Degree in Sustainability
  • Experience working with manufacturers, mining companies, and other suppliers
  • Diamond, Jewelry or Manufacturing knowledge

The hiring range for this position ranges from $114,410 - $161,520. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience. Management is also eligible for bonus.
