JOB PURPOSE

FINANCE MANAGER - FTC 12 MONTH

  • As Finance Business Partner you will be responsible for partnering with Key stakeholders to drive change & continuous improvement by providing insight into business performance to support decision making
  • The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for supplying Product Costing information to the business and working with internal PD and sourcing teams to meet target cost
  • Support the Senior Finance Manager by providing analysis of financial and non-financial information to underpin the delivery of long term operational and financial plans
  • The Finance Business Partner will take responsibility for reviewing the weekly accounts and flagging risks and opportunities to the Senior Finance Manager and will take the lead at month end providing: commentary, analysis and the key highlights to the relevant teams.
  • The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for all Budget and Forecast submissions and will keep a track on performance throughout the financial year


RESPONSIBILITIES

To support the Senior Finance Analyst, by establishing strong working relationships with key business stakeholders:
  • Review business performance to target
  • Taking the lead at Month End and ensuring the key deliverables are met
  • Working with the PD team to engineer product to a target cost
  • Pulling together business cases (Payback/Net cashflows)
  • Budget/Forecast preparation & submission
  • People Cost Planning tool- ensuring we have robust FTE forecasts in place
  • Providing context around analysis from the senior finance analysis and simplification for non-financial stakeholders
  • Calculation of fair and accurate overhead rates
  • Seasonal guidance- articulating cost headwinds & transparency within teams
  • Seasonal Price Lists
  • Review of the weekly accounts and flagging risk & opps to the Senior Finance Manager
  • Stock/RMX provisions - supporting the teams with submission of RMX


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) (Fully Qualified)
  • Working in a fast paced environment
  • Strong finance system skills ideally with good knowledge of SAP/ERP systems. Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience of managing and influencing stakeholders in both finance and the business
  • Excellent communication skills with experience of supporting, influencing and challenging teams
  • Experience in identifying and delivering process improvements
  • Able to step away from the details to be able to see 'bigger picture' and pick out the key messages
  • Experience of working with multiple information sources and data and analytics
