Business Development Manager
Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES/ASSIGNMENT
Reporting to Regional Business Development Director, you will be responsible for:
· Search new store locations and optimizing the retail network in China based on the Group's strategy
· Ensure our POS locations are commerically competitive and well positioned.
· Presenting the brands externally, negotiating with landlords and department stores and achieving the best possible deals for the Company and brands.
· Reviewing and analysing renewals, relocations and refurbishment for existing POS. Preparing P&L and presentation to obtain approval from Senior Management and Global Head Office
· Developing and maintaining a good relationship with major landlords, department stores, agents and business partners in China
· Managing lease contracts including offers, tenancy, consignments and other lease-related documents
· Managing the real estate database and market intelligence, compiling reports and preparing presentations to Senior Management
· Coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely opening of all store projects in China
· Assisting in ad hoc projects as assigned
Profile

· Good negotiation skills and strong connection with landlords
· Self-motivated, energetic and passion to learn
· Good inter-personal and communication skill
· Flexibility to travel
· At least 5 years relevant working experience in retail leasing, preferably with international retail brands or major landlords
· Bachelor degree in Business, Real Estate, Surveying and other relevant discipline.
· Fluent in English, Mandarin. Cantonese/ French will be a plus.
· Proficient in Word, Power Point and Excel
