Position Overview
The Brand Marketing Assistant, Licensingwill support the Global Marketing team in defining and executing the 360 marketing strategy across our GLWJ (Global Licensing and Watches & Jewelry) categories.The GLWJ businessincludes, butisnot limited to, Fragrances, Eyewear, Underwear/Sleepwear, Hosiery, Watches &Jewelry.The Assistant willwork across all licensing-related initiatives, from daily communications and calendar planning to global campaign briefings and business development initiatives, ultimately helping to define how we present these categories to consumers across channels, platforms, and regions. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Creative, Digital, E-commerce, Merchandising, Buying, PR, Media, and Regional Marketing teams. They will also interface with our external licensing partners on a regular basis.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Support Global Marketing team on all marketing initiatives for GLWJ businesses, partnering closely with licensees as well as internal stakeholders
* Oversee internal licensing and brand calendars, ensuring updates are made and distributed regularly
* Manage day-to-day communications with licensees and assist with any requests as needed
* Contribute to strategic 360 and site/social briefs across licensed categories
* Track all brand/campaign shoots which include GLWJ categories, managing samples as needed
* Compile global licensing deliverables across all respective brands and seasonal campaigns
* Track budget allocated across licensing marketing initiatives in partnership with RL agency
* Analyze global market information, drawing conclusions on market trends, best practices, and customer dynamics in each category, and define opportunities for Ralph Lauren
* Assist with presentations as needed for internal and external communications
* Connect with regional, global, and channel teams regularly to communicate updates and identify opportunities for licensing integration and support; share updates with external stakeholders for future campaign planning
* Work with creative leads to guide the development of creative & marketing concepts that can be executed globally according to brand strategies and business goals
* Cultivate partnerships with Creative and Design to develop and execute digital storytelling for the brand in a manner that is appropriate and catered to each platform in the digital eco-system
* Manage additional tasks that may arise as our licensing business evolves

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Experience supporting marketing or similar teams with planning and communication efforts
* Experience in fashion, beauty, and/or licensing preferred
* Team player and self-starter - collaborative, proactive, and enthusiastic to drive teams to results
* Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal and project management skills
* Strong follow-through with attention to detail
* Ability to think proactively, prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
* Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to interface with all levels of management
* Mastery of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word); proficiency in Keynote #LI-CE1
