POSITION OBJECTIVE:

This position is responsible for providing application support to Chico's FAS by maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the Product Information Management (PIM) system. This role will maintain relationships and communication with all business and technology units regarding system requirements and issue management.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Analyzes business processes; evaluates alternative solutions, assesses feasibility, and recommends new approaches while seeking to exploit technology components.
  • Undertakes the identification, registration, and categorization of incidents. Gathers information to enable incident resolution and promptly escalates incidents as appropriate.
  • Ensures that appropriate action is taken to anticipate, investigate and resolve problems in systems and services. Ensures that such problems are fully documented within the relevant reporting system(s). Leads the development of problem solutions. Coordinates the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures. Evaluates patterns and trends.
  • Contributes to the designs, development, testing, and documentation of complex programs from agreed specifications, and subsequent iterations, using agreed standards and tools.
  • Assists in the investigation and resolution of issues relating to the PIM system.
  • Facilitates open communication and discussion between stakeholders. Uses feedback from customers and stakeholders to help measure effectiveness. Contributes to the development and enhancement of customer and stakeholder relationships. Facilitates working sessions to gather requirements, gain consensus, or address various topics with diverse groups of people; has ability to manage conflict and create positive outcomes for all involved.
  • Facilitates successful product activation with key stakeholders.
  • Creates and develops relationships with software vendors and consultants; Stays in tune with the industry and market vendors to ensure our systems are best in class.
  • Assesses, analyzes, creates, documents, presents, and implements changes based on requests for change. Engages in change management solutions to lead users through the change curve, ensuring users adopt and embrace new systems.
  • Creates defined tasks to monitor service delivery against service level agreements (SLAs) and maintains records of relevant information.
  • Uses the tools and techniques for specific areas of release and deployment activities. Administers the recording of activities, logging of results and documents technical activity undertaken.
  • Completes all cycles and activities related to testing, system validation, performance testing.
  • Completes documentation as required to be compliant with FAS standards, including Functional and Technical Design Documents, Design Summaries, Administration, Testing documentation, Training documentation and User Guides. Create a sustainability plan to ensure documentation is updated as changes arise.
  • Other duties as assigned



    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent
    • 5+ years as a System Analyst or in application development
    • 1-3 years PIM, ERP, or MDM
    • Large project implementation success
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    • Makes decisions with limited information but also able to synthesize large quantities of data to drive business decisions
    • Strong Communication and presentation skills: Concisely presents complex information in terms that are meaningful to various audiences
    • Builds collaborative partnerships cross-functionally; Identifies/influences critical stakeholders
    • Advanced Knowledge of MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access) and Visio
    • Ability to work on complex tasks with minimal supervision and formulate/refine problem definition independently
    • Effective in communication skills at multiple levels, including senior management, within the organization
    • SQL, VBA a plus
    • Experience with SAP, Akeneo, Fabric a plus
    • Previous Retail experience preferred
