Job Details
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes. This includes the accounting for transactions within our corporate holding entities, specifically reconciling Intra-Group fees between Tiffany and other LVMH entities, as well as intercompany activity within Tiffany (i.e. intercompany loans), accounting for royalty programs which includes collaborating with the Merchandising team to align on reporting and Treasury team to issue payments. Additionally, this position will support account reconciliations and prepare P&L and BS variations for the corporate holding companies, and analyze consolidated P&L variations as submitted by the international markets. This position will review, in detail, Tiffany's Captive Insurance Company's Financial Documents which includes partnering with management to ensure appropriate presentation. Assist management in preparing accounting policy documentation and technical accounting research, as well as participate in process improvement projects and will complete assignments at the direction of department management.
Location: This position is in-person at our office in Parsippany, NJ with an optional hybrid schedule.

Key Accountabilities:
- Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes by completing assigned journal entries and account reconciliations. This includes the accounting and analysis for the intercompany payables, Intra-Group fees, Captive Insurance Company, and royalty programs.
- Completing monthly responsibilities including the preparation of P&L and BS variations for the corporate holding companies, and the analysis of consolidated P&L variations as submitted by international markets.
- Support external audit requests by completing account analysis
- Participate in operational improvement projects (departmental, divisional, and company-wide)
- Assisting management with special assignments, including but not limited to, accounting policy documentation and technical accounting research.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 0-2 years of work experience
- Proficient in Excel and tech savvy
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Great teammate with proven track record of collaborating efficiently
- Must be willing to work flexible hours during monthly and year-end closings, as well as for special assignments when requested
Preferred Qualification:
- CPA candidate or hold CPA
