Job Details

The Manager, Business Strategy is a core member and strategic driver of the Corporate Business Strategy team of Tommy Hilfiger, The Americas. The team acts as an internal consultancy, provides strategic planning support, evaluates new opportunities, drives synergies and streamlines processes to raise efficiency and drive profitability. The team evaluates customer needs, identifies market trends, and makes recommendations for action in alignment with the Company's overall strategy. The team members are essential thought partners with all areas of the Company, including executive leadership, supply chain/sourcing, finance, merchandising, planning, marketing, wholesale, licensing and e-commerce.

The selected candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who can provide input into future growth opportunities, along with strategic directions and priorities while implementing brand specific strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct independent, critical analyses of the current state of business, identify risks and opportunities, and develop go-forward action strategies and work plans
  • Actively lead discussions and drive collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and recommendations through accurate data analysis and financial modelling
  • Actively run Power Plan DRIVE initiative workstreams through project management, managing timelines, and tracking key performance indicators, as well as identifying and mitigating project risks
  • Consistently contribute to reports and presentations to senior management (e.g. PVH Board, Tommy Hilfiger Global leadership team) to clearly communicate and articulate the North American vision and strategy
  • Support the VP of Business Strategy to articulate 3/5 year business plans, potential process improvements and solutions to complex business problems
  • Communicate complex quantitative and qualitative analysis in a clear, precise, actionable, and in a time-efficient manner
  • Analyze competitor strategies & consumer insights to identify business opportunities, while taking into consideration external threats and challenges on such opportunities
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of operations of the Tommy Hilfiger North America business and the broader PVH organization. Develop a strong understanding of industry and market trends, competitive intelligence and consumers


Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in investment banking / finance, management consulting or related field highly preferred
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills with a high standard of data accuracy
  • Ability to analyze metrics, develop data driven insights and make recommendations
  • Ability to quickly identify key issues / opportunities and develop action plans
  • Strong facilitation and project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively lead discussions with management
  • Ability to be a strong collaborator with cross-functional partners and to independently lead coverage with a given division / function
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to capture the perspectives of diverse stakeholders, in order to develop a unified plan and solution
  • Superior financial modeling skills and the ability of vetting new / existing business opportunities, including the creation of strategic business plans
  • Ability to proactively detect and assess risks / opportunities, and spearhead subsequent action needs to cascade throughout the organization
  • Masterful expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interest in and expansive knowledge of fashion / retail industry
  • A critical thinker who has a sense of creativity that is balanced by a strategic and analytical understanding of driving business forward
  • Active participant in strategic decision making
  • Must be flexible to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Sense of urgency
  • Able to travel, if necessary


Pay Range: $117,000 - $130,000
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
