Technical Visual Merchandising Designer

BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Develop technical drawings for windows, in-store and pop-up installations, in alignment to the Brand Artistic Brief and based on the direction coming from the Visual Design Coordinator.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop window installation activities, creating 3D and renderings, implementing the concept design across Zegna WW activations liaising with VM Operations office and suppliers;
• Support the window design process developing technical drawings for windows, in-store and pop-up installations;
• Follow the engineering phase with the supplier;
• Follow up of the prototyping phase and production to achieve the best possible execution;
• Partner with the Visual Merchandising department in order to plan and execute installation activities, as well as technical and creative visual aspects of special events, store openings and other store initiatives.

PRINCIPAL SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION

• Highly creative, interested in visual arts/graphic communication and fashion
• Team working and goal oriented
• Precise and committed
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Rhinoceros, Keyshot and rendering software
• Excellent Knowledge of AutoCAD and 2D software
• At least 3/4 years in similar roles
• Knowledge of luxury and/or fashion industry
• University Degree
• Fluent English, other languages a plus
• Travel requirements: Medium level, following local installations
