Purpose:

The Production Coordinator works closely with the Production Manager and oversee the production of all products making sure they are made in a timely manner.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate classics and carry overs numbers to factories and obtain Production Manager approval
  • Responsible for allocating production quantities with Production Manager
  • Procurement planning of accessories /materials
  • Confirm if minimum order quantities are met and if not communicate cancellations to the Commercial team
  • Deal with any material issues during production such as substitution or supplier delays
  • Monitor material minimums and approve pre-orders when relevant
  • Monitor factory performance and planning
  • Challenge factory lead times and production complications and make sure that Purchase Orders are meeting buyers’ ex-factory dates
  • Fast track any production for events and VIP orders
  • Travel to factories to oversee production issues
  • Give updates to Commercial team on a regular basis
  • Packaging forecast and stock levels maintenance
  • Carry out such duties as the Directors may from time to time assign to the employee.

 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience 2-3 years in a similar role
  • Proactive with strong problem-solving skills
  • Italian language skill is mandatory
  • Be able to develop effective working relationships with suppliers and internal departments
  • Proactive with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, and ensure delivery of results within tight deadlines
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, with an appreciation of colour and imagery, and the ability to lead innovation
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Excellence: High level of finesse and excellence required in delivery of all tasks
