Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Buyer with Strong Luxury apparel & accessories background to support the menswear merchandise team. The successful candidate will maximize commercial opportunities for the relevant brands and stores within the Menswear portfolio
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Develop a strong relationship with internal stakeholders working closely with retail operations, marketing and store teams to trouble shoot issues and drive store performance
* Produce accurate and comprehensive reports and provide analysis for store performance
* Respond promptly to store queries and stock requests
* Assist with the seasonal buys providing in-depth analysis on previous seasons to drive sales, profit and sell-through growth for all stores
* Undertake regular store visits and provide relevant feedback on operational opportunities and issues impacting performance
* Develop product knowledge guides
* Liaise between the HKMM team/Allocation and the local Retail Operations team and Store Managers on day-to-day, in-season requirements for retail doors
* Liaise with Supply Chain and HK Allocation team on in-store initial delivery dates tracking
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
* System skills including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
* A combination of passion, commercial knowledge, great communication and analytical skills
* Commercial awareness and a keen interest in the fashion retail industry
* Collaborative style: proven ability to work as a team player
* A passion for menswear and the luxury fashion industry at large
