DESCRIPTION

The Inventory Control Manager will oversee a team of IC (Inventory Control) Specialists to ensure the accuracy for the complete product life cycle from receiving to shipping. This position will be accountable for tracking, reporting, and communicating findings to various business groups. This position will report into the Senior Manager of Inventory Control and Quality Assurance of Supply Chain.

Key Performance Elements:
  • Provide leadership and guidance while planning, directing, and supervising the work activities of the Inventory Control team
  • Establish and drive tactical and strategic IC plans and initiatives
  • Propose ideas to increase the inventory accuracy for the fulfillment processes along with reducing frequent errors or issues
  • Create and analyze Quality reporting to support business needs/initiatives
  • Reduce errors to our customers by overseeing daily cycle count audits along with reporting errors/issues to appropriate Management members
  • Interaction with Merchants and Corporate Inventory Management to resolve issues relating to inventory accuracy
  • Continuous improvement on inventory shrink to positively impact the customer experience


Requirements - Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • 3-5 years of management experience, in a progressive warehouse/distribution environment, with a focus in Inventory Control
  • Ability to supervise teams and manage heavy workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management, planning, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Proficient in MS Office
