GAUGE81 is a young fast-growing fashion start-up based on the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam. Through the use of striking angles and playful proportions, GAUGE81 (pronounced GO-SH eighty-one) blurs the line between evening and casual wear.

 

Our activities include everything from the design, sourcing and manufacturing of the collections as well as marketing and PR. Our clients include Net a Porter, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Moda Operandi and Brown’s Fashion.

 

As our Human Resources intern, you’ll be managing all tasks related to HR and the improvement of organizational processes.

 

HR Intern Responsibilities:

  • Updating company databases by inputting new employee contact information and employment details. Assisting with screening potential employees' resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates to fill company job vacancies. Assisting with organizing interviews with shortlisted candidates. Posting job advertisements to job boards and social media platforms. Removing job advertisements from job boards and social media platforms once vacancies have been filled. Assisting in the planning of company events. Preparing and sending offer and rejection letters or emails to candidates. Coordinating new hire orientations. Assisting HR in creating and maintaining an organized structure. Assisting with everyday HR duties and company culture. Assisting with office maintenance & employee satisfaction. Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters.

Our ideal candidate:

 

 

  • You’re currently in the 3rd or 4th year of your MBO/HBO level/Bachelors studies in the direction of Human resources Like to take initiative and can work independently Strong organizational & communication skills Stress resilient and solution oriented Ability to set priorities and multi-task Plus: a keen interest in the fashion industry Excellent system skills (Microsoft Teams, Excel) English proficiency (both speaking and writing)
