To complete theLeisurewear Department we are looking for aHead of Technical Product DevelopmentOuterwear, Coat & LG (m/f/d).

What you can expect:

  • Responsible for building and leading technical product development team (fabric research, trend research, development with sustainability focus, optimization of supply chain process during development and production, exploration of new technologies)
  • Implementation of creative specifications under consideration of the strategic guidelines, margins, and savings targets including the bulk release
  • Ensures an optimal development process to implement the best possible product development in compliance with costing, speed and sustainability
  • Establish and maintain an international network and collaborative business relationships with vendors/suppliers within the supply chain (fabric mills, technology companies, chemical industries, collaborations and more)
  • Responsible for developing and implementing the modular tool box for all brand and gender lines
  • Participate in determining the strategic direction of the responsible product group supply chain, with strong focus and know-how of global supplier selection and relevant capabilities
  • Lead and set up of the team, establish stakeholder presence, develop team's operational processes and cross functional engagement
  • Encourage team members agile, collaborative and ownership mindset to secure delivery of strategy with cross functional stakeholders
  • Create risk mitigation competencies within team and supplier strategy


Your profile:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in Textile/Apparel
  • Experience in Product Development environment +10years and 5 years in equivalent leadership position
  • Very strong product and technical knowledge
  • Must be able to anticipate and mitigate risks/issues and demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities to departments
  • Strong analytical skills to translate development activities into specific performance indicators
  • Fluency in English is required, ideally also in German.
  • Strong influencing skills, decision making, strategic thinking, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • High level of commitment, ability to multitask and change management skills
  • Inspiring and motivating leader
