Position Overview
Ralph Lauren is looking for an experienced digital commerce professional to lead the ecommerce business development activities supporting APAC markets: Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, and SEA. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams in APAC office as well as in-country ecommerce teams to identify new business or existing business enhancement/optimization opportunities, develop business case, partner with Global Technology organization to plan and drive projects to execution, and track business performance. The role also includes managing digital commerce demand planning & KPI reporting activities, site analytics, as well as omni-channel project management activities. H/she will report directly to the Head of APAC Digital Commerce & Operations and will play an important role in driving digital brand strength, digital sales growth, and brand elevation of Ralph Lauren brands in APAC region. You are a self-starter, thought leader, problem solver with an entrepreneurial mindset. You understand the nuances of different APAC markets and consumer needs/behavior especially within the digital ecosystem. You thrive fast paced work environments and effectively manage time and team resources to meet deliverables and project deadlines. You leverage your strong interpersonal/communication skills to effectively lead projects and teams and have a strong track record of driving complex projects to success. You have experience in identifying strong talents, in addition to leading and developing a high-performing team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities: Lead Digital Commerce business development activities:
* Manage APAC Digital Commerce roadmap in partnership with Global Tech/IT and country digital commerce teams
* Lead the planning of various omni-channel, digital commerce-focused business optimization and market expansion projects
* Define business requirements in partnership with the regional teams and support the launch of all projects on-schedule as planned
* Assist in the evaluation of new e-commerce partnership opportunities
* Build business case and financial models, develop go-to-market plans for new growth initiatives across APAC
* Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams on launch plans; represent perspectives of various internal and external partners; communicate any risks and manage mitigation plans effectively
* Proactively and effectively manage key stakeholders
* Lead pilot programs, test & learn; expand and scale if proven successful
* Identify scale-able opportunities in day-to-day operations/processes; propose new ideas; lead execution/market roll-out
* Conduct market research, develop in-depth understanding of competitive landscape, report on competitive trends, derive market insights that translate into short to mid-term identified opportunities
* Drive innovation projects to execution for digital commerce channels and manage omni-channel projects & operations Develop and manage Demand Planning and Analytics functions:
* Strengthen demand forecasting & planning workstream in partnership with FP&A and regional digital commerce teams
* Develop data-driven solutioning and decision-making mindset in teams and the greater organization
* Manage various digital commerce-related reporting activities on a weekly, monthly, quarterly as well as ad hoc basis
* Derive campaign-level performance insights to help understand consumer engagement effectiveness as well as business impact
* Develop analytics models/frameworks to help understand consumer behavior, track content and digital product performance
* Analyze consumer journey on RL.com sites and identify funnel/conversion optimization opportunities
* Develop hypothesis and validate via data analysis, derive insights and offer recommendations/solutions Others:
* Monitor business performance on weekly, monthly, quarterly basis to ensure on-strategy, on-brand execution of all business activities
* Assist in developing business review or digital/ecommerce strategy materials to be presented to the leadership teams

Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Requirements:
* Degree holder in Business, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, E-commerce or MBA
* Minimum 12 years of professional experience
* Minimum 3 years of managing a team of 3 or more
* Minimum 2 years of experience in consulting/ research firm/investment banking
* Luxury retail/e-commerce / digital marketing/brand building experience at APAC or Global level highly valued
* Prior Salesforce experience highly recognized
* Strong thought leader, problem solver, self-starter, entrepreneurial, results-oriented, responsible, able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Excellent project management skills
* Consumer-obsessed, commercial-minded, strong organization, communication, time-management, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
* Able to multitask and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines, while working with multiple stakeholders in various departments/regions
* Positive, collaborative, team player, self-motivated, creative, high appetite to learn
* Strong analytical skills
* Advanced proficiency in Powerpoint, Excel, Word
* Fluency in English is a must, additional language proficiency in Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin is highly valued
