Summary
TheAMERPrivacy Officer's position is a key position within the Kering Group Privacy organization.

As a direct report of the Group Privacy Officer, theAMERPrivacy Officershall support each brand within theirday-to-day Privacy requirements and allow the group to build a consistent approach while allowing local / brand specificities to be implemented. As a consequence, theAMERPrivacy officer is a link between group-wide privacy requirements, other Privacy practices within the group, various business requirements and Brand needs.

The AMERPrivacy Officer's shall, in particular, be close to the business units and shall act as a business facilitator.

SUMMARY

TheAMERPrivacy Officerwill:
  • Implement & Monitor the Privacy framework,
  • Support Kering teams to deliver services to each brand in accordance with privacy Legislation,
  • Support the Group Privacy Officer in the definition of the Pivacy strategy for the region
  • Support and advise each brand with their privacyday to day Privacy needs,
  • Ensure the effectiveness of Privacy requirements within Projects implemented within the group,
  • Lead the negotiation andsupport Kering Legal in the implementation of "Data Privacy Agreements"

    HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

    TheAMER Privacy Officerwillmonitor the implementation oftheprivacy frameworkand adviseController(s)and/or Processor(s)ontheir obligations pursuant to the applicable Privacy Legislation.ThePrivacy Officer may,inparticular:
    • Advise and inform the Keringgroup, itsBrands, andPersonnelwho carry outPersonalData processing activities about their obligations to comply with Applicable Privacy Legislation;
    • Analyze andassessthe compliance ofprocessing activities with Applicable Privacy Legislationand the Privacy framework;
    • Answerthe questions or requests for adviceonthe Privacy frameworkmade bythe relevantData Protection Officer(s)or any member of the privacy network;
    • Coordinate and animate the privacy network;
    • Inform, advise and issue privacy recommendationsandguidelinesto the Kering Group in connection with any privacy-related concerns or situations;
    • Advise on privacy by design measures to be implemented in projects;
    • Advise onthe keepingofrecordsof processing activities carried outbyControllersorbyProcessors within the Kering Group;
    • Advise on products' and services' compliance with ApplicablePrivacy Legislation;
    • Ensure the effective implementation of the Privacy framework, including;
    • ConductPrivacy Impact Assessments and, if deemed necessary implement Privacy requirements withinProcessingactivities; and
    • Assist businessunits across the Kering Groupin negotiating Privacy-related provisionsin contracts.


    TheAMER Privacy Officermonitors the Privacy rules implementationwithin the Kering Group. ThePrivacy OfficerAMERmay,inparticular:
    • Collect information to identifyprocessingactivities;
    • Collaborate with any existing audit function within the Kering Group;
    • Support and collaborate with Data Protection Officersin consideration oftheiraudit and monitoring missions;
    • Analyse andassessthe compliance ofprocessingactivities;
    • Advise, in cooperation with the relevantData Protection Officerif any,where PrivacyImpactAssessments are required and monitor their performance;
    • Develop and implementaPrivacy audit policy and procedures to monitor adherence and compliance with thePrivacy framework; and
    • Monitor implementation of Privacy policies.


    WHO YOU ARE
    • You are a talented technology lawyer or project manager with strong skills in Privacy legislation.
    • You are a proactive and curious individual to whom challenges and working in a constantly evolving environment is a must.
    • You have strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage a variety of internal client demands appropriately in a fast-paced environment. As a consequence, you will need to
      • Demonstrate time management, project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to multi-task and take ownership of multiple projects at a time.
      • Demonstrate Strategic thinking with an ability to leverage business sense, creative problem-solving skills and sense of prioritization when resolving issues.
      • Demonstrate ability to communicate, adapt and convince other individuals, including senior management and internal clients at all levels of the organization.
    • Your experience (Ideally 5-7 years) allows you to handle responsibilities with minimal supervision, take initiatives, work autonomously and set strategic goals, while remaining a strong and supportive team member. As part of the legal department, you must be able to handle sensitive / confidential information requiring a high level of discretion, respect and integrity.


    BASE SALARY RANGE
    • $210,000 - $240,000 per year
