The Operations Manager is r esponsible for the Inventory teams, oversee and manage merchandise and shipping procedures in order to maintain complete and accurate inventory levels. Oversee and support Security in cooperation with the stores and our teams in UK/US. Support company's visions and goals as well as meeting profitability targets and maintaining appropriate business controls

Key Accountabilities:
  • Drive the implementation of standardized processes. Create a common understanding of efficient work principles, leveraging best practices. Contribute to and facilitate system implementations and process changes. Train and support all levels and act as multiplier of best practice methods.
  • Coordinate and prioritize resources: Own the facilitation of the local/regional Leadership Steering Committee to agree, prioritize, plan, coordinate and follow up on all process improvement activities. Ensure focus on best customer experience and adherence to policies.
  • Ensure Policies and Procedures as well as local guidelines are being communicated and followed by the team, in cooperation with store management.
  • Cycle Count planning & coordination, PI planning & coordination,
  • Oversee the Borrowed Merchandise process.
  • Oversee JDE adjustments and issues to manage accurate store inventory levels.
  • Provide support to manage " kick out " reports to ensure sales are processed correctly and store inventory levels are correct.
  • Ensure all transfers and customer orders are wrapped, shipped and received in accordance with TCO standards and our local controls.
  • Manage relationship with local carrier and customs agencies.
  • Operations related month end reporting.
  • Manage construction and facility related projects.
  • Ensure that all in-store procedures as well as special outside events are in accordance with our policies and guidelines.
  • Support store management in Custom Design and Statement Council requests.
  • Identify saving potentials in transport and facility management.
  • Take care of quarterly audit checklist.

Required Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification
  • Project Portfolio Management experience
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of team leadership within a large-scale, rapid and process-driven environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Very strong analytical skill, with ability to translate operational issues into workable solutions. Able to dive deep whilst seeing the big picture.
  • Continuous Improvement skills
  • Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft XP (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards and MIPS
  • Knowledge of local import/export regulation
  • IT knowledge
  • Retail industry experience (luxury jewelry preferred)
  • Fluent in Italian and English, a third language will be considered as a plus
