About the role
We now have a rare and exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Merchandise Manager - ANZ.
The ANZ Merchandising Manager is responsible for driving product performance in the market through developing and implementing robust strategies and action plans in close collaboration with functional teams (namely retail excellence, training, client development, marketing/PR) and retail stores. He/she needs to partner closely with Zone Merchandising and Supply Chain teams to drive an effective product strategy and maintain an optimal and productive inventory across the network.

About the role

The ANZ Merchandising Manager is responsible for driving product performance in the market through developing and implementing robust strategies and action plans in close collaboration with functional teams (namely retail excellence, training, client development, marketing/PR) and retail stores. He/she needs to partner closely with Zone Merchandising and Supply Chain teams to drive an effective product strategy and maintain an optimal and productive inventory across the network.
Responsibilities include, but are no limited to:
- Review and analyze sales regularly to identify trends and derive actionable insights to drive product performance
- Partner Zone Merchandising and Supply Chain teams to ensure optimal assortment and inventory levels across the network, including e-commerce
- Support store team with their product requests, coordinating efficient product transfers between stores/countries
- Provide strategic product feedback to zone merchandising team on new launches and market growth opportunities and provide inputs on product sales and inventory forecasts, in partnership with Zone team
- Develop and execute relevant action plans for the product priorities set by the Zone team
- Partner market GM, functional teams and store leadership in creating robust action plans to drive successful new launches, improve product performance and deliver sales objectives
- Provide a merchandising commercial perspective (i.e. sales expectations, assortment, product mix) for key retail and operational projects
- Effective oversight of the CVM function to ensure timely and strong executive of creative campaigns, in-store displays and product presentation
The ideal candidate will:
- Have minimum 5 years in merchandising
- Have experience in managing a team
- Be familiar with luxury/ upscale international brands
- Be creative and initiative, hard - working , c ommitment to excellence
- Be very organized with great attention to detail
- Have critical thinking and strong problem-solving ability
- Have a strong sense of urgency
- Have a good understanding and appreciation of style and design
- Be fluent of written and spoken English
- Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.)
- BA or BS required, MBA preferred
