Primary Purpose:

The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading the talent strategy for the Europe region, and recruitment across corporate functions, new store openings and management level retail field-based positions for Tapestry, Inc (Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman brands). This role will report to the Head of HR Europe with a dotted line report to the VP, Global Talent and Development.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Talent Acquisition to...
  • Lead the development of talent initiatives and strategy for continuous improvement to ensure Tapestry is attracting and retaining top talent
  • Lead and mentor the Talent Acquisition team through supporting and development of their skills to deliver exceptional results
  • Guide hiring managers and provide professional and expert consultation with regard to the hiring process and the market for Talent (passive and active candidates)
  • Accelerate speed to hire, responsiveness and the exchange of hiring manager feedback to ensure an outstanding candidate experience
  • Act as talent advisor to business partners on recruitment and industry trends
  • Partner with the business to champion ED&I hiring initiatives
  • Build a pipeline of talent for the Tapestry portfolio, network by pursuing and developing relationships with potential candidates and create and maintain future contact files for all areas
  • Own the PSL (Preferred Service List) for Tapestry Europe to streamline and navigate the best and most effective recruitment support when it is required, reviewing existing contracts and negotiating best rates
  • Participate and represent the Talent Europe team at Global Talent Leadership meetings
  • Recognize and realize opportunities to continually improve and evolve processes
  • Maintain current knowledge of Fashion Retail/Luxury goods industry and systematically mobilize recruitment efforts based on recent industry news
  • Manage recruitment budget across corporate and retail
  • Oversee and delegate Talent Acquisition projects as needed


The accomplished individual will possess...
  • BA Degree
  • 6 - 8 years Human Resources/Recruitment experience; fashion or luxury consumer products experience preferred
  • Hands on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and candidate applicant systems
  • Self-starter, takes initiative, highly motivated
  • Managerial experience
  • Ability to lead and influence at leadership levels
  • Possess a high level of ability to creatively problem solve
  • Ability to anticipate potential issues at an early stage
  • High level of organization skills (including: detail orientation and strong follow-up/follow through skills)
  • Capable of evaluating and change priorities on an as-needed basis
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Must be able to perform efficiently within a high pressure, fast paced team environment
  • Retail experience a plus
