Job Title: Warehouse Clerk (Global Fulfillment and Logistics)

Location: North Las Vegas, NV-On site

Primary Purpose: The Warehouse Clerk will work in our new fulfillment center in North Las Vegas in various functions, performing elevated tasks and/or entry level leadership responsibilities. Positions may include inbound, outbound, inventory, returns, and shipping department functions.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to...

Inbound:
  • Create daily receipt schedule by analyzing shipment reports provided by freight forwarders.
  • Assist in managing departmental volume flow and communicates gaps to ensure work is available and all areas are operational.
  • Build strong relationships with corporate partners and vendors to maintain scheduled receipts, but be able to adapt and make adjustments with vendors pending business needs.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management (WM) and other reporting tools to determine status and resolve cases within the department.
  • Monitor cycle counts, including inventory control, to improve overall department accuracy.
  • Use accurate data entry skills for multiple programs.
  • Partner with Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) team to provide necessary paperwork verifying goods received.
  • Accurately update and distribute required reporting.
  • Manifest and verify received Advanced Shipping Notice (ASNs) are complete and troubleshoot any discrepancies.
  • Assist with any offsite inventory management process. Validate inventory at offsite locations for accuracy.
  • Pro-active support in open order research and resolution for open waves/orders.
  • Be involved in special projects, department enhancements and supports leadership as needed.
  • Provide back up support to peers and Team Leader (TL) as necessary.
  • Maintain and Update documentation as required


Outbound:
  • Works closely with leadership and Labor Management (productivity tool) Coordinator to input and maintain accurate daily productivity in Labor Management while identifying and communicating anomalies and trends
  • Conducts a weekly inventory on all Distribution supplies and calculates usage to aid in order placement
  • Accurately updates and distributes required reporting
  • Assist in monitoring and closing tasks in the Workflow Helpdesk
  • Assists in managing departmental volume flow and communicates gaps to ensure work is available and all areas are operational
  • Pro-active support in open order research and resolution for open waves/orders
  • Assist with managing to multiple daily deadlines
  • Involved in special projects, department enhancements and supports leadership as needed.
  • Provides back up support to peers and Team Leader as necessary
  • Maintain and updates reporting and documentation as required


Inventory:
  • Maintain the accuracy of information in Item Master. Will partner with receiving to analyze new receipts and obtain critical dimensions and other pertinent information and enter into WM.
  • Research issues with active inventory and outbound orders to identify and resolve root cause issues.
  • Manage Cycle Count Program for Fulfillment.
  • Assist in the monitoring and closing of tasks in the Workflow Helpdesk.
  • Uses available tools to forecast needs and partners with Fulfillment to best determine storage strategies for new product being received.
  • Researches issues with cartonization and weight variances to identify and resolve root cause issues.
  • Monitors in-house and offsite inventory levels, ordering inventory as necessary to insure that the proper inventory is offsite to fulfill orders. Partners with the Reserve & Receiving teams to manage offsite transfers.
  • Accurately updates and distributes required reporting.
  • Assists in managing departmental volume flow and communicates gaps to ensure work is available and all areas are operational.
  • Pro-active support in open order research and resolutions for open waves/orders.
  • Involved in special projects, department enhancements, and supports leadership as needed.
  • Provides back up support to peers and Team Leader as necessary.
  • Maintains and updates documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required.


Returns:
  • Plan and monitor the inbound Returns volume into the distribution center.
  • Assist in the timely receipt of parcel packages into the facility and ensuring parcel packages are accurately routed and delivered to their destination/recipient - utilizing WITS tool.
  • Assist in the id and delivery of parcel packages to their recipients.
  • Analyze and plan priorities of incoming volume from all three channels - Retail, Wholesale, and Direct to Consumer, and assign highest volume retail and wholesale skus into reserve locations.
  • Provide updates and respond to a variety of internal & external customers regarding statuses of RAR's, STO's, PO's and DTC returns processed.
  • Train, support, and provide feedback to associates regarding standard dept. processes.
  • Utilize Ecometry to resolve Direct to Consumer return problems; provide return order status.
  • Order and monitor supplies inventory for items needed in the Returns department.
  • Support Special Projects team on updates and communications.
  • Daily usage of WMS to update and adjust inaccurate inventory.
  • Knowledge of S4 to research inbound Retail return transfers.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of tracking through multi-company websites
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Shipping:
  • Monitor Open Wave report on a daily basis to ensure that orders are processed within 24 hours of wave and shipped according to schedule
  • Monitor Remaining Retail report throughout the day to ensure orders are delivered to shipping timely to be loaded on correct trailers by their specified cut time
  • Provide necessary paperwork to accounts' traffic department to assign authorized carrier
  • Coordinate pick-up of shipments with carriers. Communicate with carriers for updated ETAs and/or follow up.
  • Inform Account Services of potential shipping problems or delays
  • Coordinate with accounts, freight forwarders, and/or other entities to route all North American and International wholesale volume.
  • Analyze findings to understand operational gaps and partner with Team Leader and Warehouse/Customer Service teams to take action.
  • Review routing guides regularly and have an understanding of International account requirements to support accuracy of shipments
  • Compiles and updates Shipping reports
  • Complete other duties as assigned.


The accomplished individual will possess...
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • More than one year of experience in a clerical, customer service or related warehouse function.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making, problem solving, organizational and follow up skills.

  • Three or more years of support roles within Logistics, Distribution or related warehouse functions
