Ecommerce Backend Product Owner

JOB PURPOSE

The role is in charge of checkout, payment, shipping and fulfillment complexity of the Product.

E-commerce Product Owner builds feature roadmaps and heavily involves in the release planning. Product Owner is responsible for being up to date on the evolution of the technology in use and, more in general, is responsible for being up to date on tech environment evolution and opportunities (with specific reference to the tech products of responsibility).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive a user centric approach in a cross-functional development team. On a day-to-day basis work with software engineers, e-Operations, Scrum Masters, QA team and UX/UI designers to reach one common goal
• Spread the product vision into the team and create a common understanding of the product
• Enable the team to solve problems in a transparent way
• Implement a use case driven approach
• Define the Use Case vision, strategy and goals
• Responsible for the concepts within the Use Cases, working closely with the other POs to ensure a consistent product experience for the customer
• Partner with the e-operations, communication, marketing and any other relevant stakeholders to define the business requirements for the engineering team
• Work hand-in-hand with the other Product Owners in your area
• Collaborate and seek support from the Lead Product Owner in your area
• Contribute to the Product Owners chapter through knowledge sharing and exchanging best practices.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Successful studies in business management or engineering

Solid background, with experience in e-commerce platforms

Solid background with Ecommerce platform (SAP CC is a plus)

Understanding of online transaction flows/user experiences and you have experience in the payment industry

Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira);

Familiarity with SCRUM, Agile or Design Sprint methodologies

Excellent level of English (Spoken and Written)
