JOB SUMMARY

The Senior IT Manager, Enterprise Operations Systems is responsible for the maintaining of the back end application environment and forms an integral part of the IT International management team. He/she - not limited to - supports the day-to-day back end Enterprise applications, proper execution of systems and continuous process improvement in region. He/she will be responsible for leading the new requirements implementations and or projects for Asia region. Management and development of local application staff ensuring quality and accurate delivery of services and processes. Collaborate with US application teams for design, implementation and support. Effective vendor management. The function reports directly to the VP IT International and indirectly responds to the Asia (customer) leadership team. The function is responsible for the support of the entire Enterprise Operations environment from an IT application and process perspective. The role locally supports (not limited to) the currently implemented and future to be systems in the APAC region

  • Finance - SAP S4
  • Supply Chain - SAP S4 with 3rd Party Logistics Process and Integrations
  • Sourcing - Centric system for Procurement, Quality and Compliance
  • HRM - Workday platform


RESPONSIBILITIES

FOCUS AREA #1 - Applications
  • Provides day-to-day support to the business teams regionally and globally.
  • Facilitates the effective and efficient improvement and implementation of local and HQ applications in support of the business.
  • Develops full implementation plan for above mentioned departments and projects inclusive of systems tasks as well as operational cutover and training plans.
  • Documents process, business requirements and participates in evaluation of functional and technical options.
  • Documents current state processes and business systems and compares to benchmarking data and/or best practices in order to identify performance gaps.
  • Develops full integration with HQ and or other environment.


FOCUS AREA #2 - Change Management
  • Facilitates the implementation of change within the organization both from a local and regional perspective, and ensures smooth adoption to new procedures, processes and applications on subjects.
  • Ensures clear understanding and adherence to new procedures and processes supporting the implemented change.
  • Develops and trains the stakeholders and the teams in the modified environments.


FOCUS AREA #3 - Business Relationships
  • Forms integral part of the IT & Business organization and facilitates implementations throughout region.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with external in region partners for the continued efficient running of the operations.
  • Performs weekly meetings with all key functions in region to discover, discuss, document and improve the current implemented solutions or proposes improvements to them.
  • Works extensively with the regional and global headquarters teams in understanding the application and infrastructure landscape in place as well as key stakeholders responsible for them. Engages proactively with them in bonding and understanding the total solution offering of the organization.
  • Works with in-country and regional external partners in provisioning support and improvement of it, through on time service delivery reviews and account management discussions.


FOCUS AREA #4 - Process
  • Facilitates the efficient and effective framework improvements with business partners and external partners including SLA review.
  • Documents process, business requirements and participates in evaluation of functional and technical options.
  • Documents current state processes and business systems and compares to benchmarking data and/or best practices in order to identify performance gaps.
  • Meets on a weekly timeframe with business key stakeholders reviewing state of affairs and improvements.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES NOT COVERED IN FOCUS AREAS
  • Majority of time spend in Asia, but willingness and ability to travel outside of region


EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
  • Bachelor Degree/Master's Degree in Business or Technical Discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience with enterprise organization and systems.
  • Experience in Supply Chain business processes.
  • Finance experience & certifications required.
  • Preferably experience in the Fashion & Retail industry
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and support functions
