As Community and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for delivering innovative strategies and initiatives driving community expansion, brand awareness, new customer acquisition and global growth. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of modern marketing behaviours, a passion for consumer insights, and a proven track record of growing a brand’s community. A dynamic thinker with an ability to deliver results and a passion for brand building in today’s intensely competitive environment will thrive in this role.

Marketing Strategy & Planning:

  • Determine the global marketing strategy and budget across all online and offline channels and touch points, driving cost-effective customer acquisition and meaningful brand experiences
  • Lead with a results-driven mentality across all marketing initiatives, planning and executing distinctive campaigns throughout the funnel
  • Drive the execution of a community-building plan and programming
  • Optimize current channel allocation and budgeting for rapid new customer acquisition
  • Develop and implement strategies that build long-term customer loyalty, maximising retention
  • Work with the creative team to develop seasonal and monthly marketing, social strategies and drop campaigns. Manage the production and delivery of these assets.
  • Own the marketing budget and manage spend by channel, partnering with the head of Ecomm
  • Monitor, evaluate and optimize marketing performance to drive ROI and continuous improvements in KPIs across all marketing channels
  • Identify weaknesses in existing marketing activities and develop pragmatic solutions within budgetary constraints
  • Own all analysis and reporting, establishing benchmarks and delivering thoughtfully considered monthly updates
  • Be a passionate student of the global marketplace, modern brand behaviours, and the consumer, consistently bringing new ideas to consider and implement
  • Conceptualise and provide a strong framework for each drop
  • Ensure all launches are supported with strong storytelling, inspiring moments, and fresh product marketing

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing at a DTC or omni-channel brand with a strong community
  • Deep knowledge of effective channels and strategies to build brand awareness and community
  • Natural inclination to deliver and embrace creativity and innovative ideas
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing an external paid media agency
  • Proven experience in media planning and strategy, with the ability to develop and manage marketing budgets with effective return and traffic growth
  • Knowledgeable of evolving and current media trends, technology, and opportunities
  • Data driven approach to marketing with excellent analytical skills, strong Excel user, and solid understanding of data trends
  • Team player with an inspiring spirt and hustle, taking an “no job too big nor too small” approach
  • Knowledge and proven expertise on Digital Marketing channels (Search, Affiliates, Display, Social Media, Content, Email, Website), digital tools and platforms
  • Excellent communication, organisation and presentation skills

This role reports into the Creative Director & Founder.
