As Head of Product Marketing (B2C), you will guide product marketers and work with product managers, UX/UI designers, UX writers, engineers, and marketing teams to develop engaging, marketable (and remarkable) digital products. To deepen customer relationships, you'll drive building awareness and further adoption of our user experience benefits and help with playing them out across markets, journeys, and touchpoints on- and off-platform.

WHAT THE TEAM IS LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a strategist and writer with a 'sales' mindset who'll function as an ambassador for the user. Combining product strategy with engaging storytelling, you will lead the charge on a variety of missions across a range of business areas.

To shift product perception and user behaviour, you and your team will translate product vision into user-ready language and make benefit messaging an integral part of the product experience. Working out go-to-market and channel strategies with our marketing teams, you'll help ship products that get to the people who would benefit from using them.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
  • Strategize. You'll write high impact internal and user-facing materials to create best-in-class, differentiated value propositions and benefits. You deeply understand (and therefore articulate) what is different, better and remarkable about a product in its market context. You will be accountable for reviewing product impact to ensure continuous improvement. When key audiences see themselves as 'beneficiaries' of what we have to offer, you'll be successful.

  • Collaborate. You'll work closely with product managers, (content) designers, the Design System team, and Category, Regional, and Performance Marketing. You will team up with Analytics to develop consumer growth KPIs.

  • Develop and execute. You'll be responsible for comprehensive go-to-market strategies to launch new products. You will identify in-feature, cross-product, and cross-channel opportunities to inform product strategy and development. You'll create product marketing assets by considering local competition with the goal to boost share of voice, transactions, subscriptions, and retention, increasing top-of-mind awareness and deepening user loyalty.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
As a product marketer, you'll be responsible for positioning digital products/user experiences across markets. For new products, you define value propositions and inform strategy. For existing products, you 'translate' features into marketable narratives that inform marketing planning, budgets, and execution. For all products, you provide concepts for testing and research that shape feature iterations, benefit-driven storytelling, and marketing collateral.

To land a Head position, you'll provide a specialised point of view and distinct product marketing experience on top of brand strategy and positioning expertise to the team. (This is essential - we're not talking about a 'classic' marketing role here.) You're a storyteller at heart and can write and review publish-ready, consumer-facing marketing communication in excellent English.

While you have seen product management, marketing, and design orgs of varying scales and maturity, you can explain how you have led people to execute tactically in a complex environment. Having likely led larger teams delivering on a range of user-centered opportunity spaces, you are inspired to help evolve the product marketer role and its contribution to the product development process, improve and establish best practices, ways of working, hiring, and the target state for the discipline.

Therefore, you have hands-on experience developing and ensuring consistent usage of messaging, positioning, targeting and channel strategies. You can show and explain creative, commercially-relevant work you have planned, led, and realised.

In essence, you bring customers and stakeholders on a journey of increasing engagement by explaining a clear customer experience vision and telling compelling stories.
