ABOUT:

Silvia Tcherassi was the first brand “made in Latin America" to showcase its collections in Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks. Launched in 1987 by the eponymous founder, her innovative première made waves among industry players. After being personally invited by the event’s organizers to present her latest collection in Milan during 2003, the press praised her work, labeling it “prêt à-couture”. More recently, WWD named her the pioneer of the Latin Flair trend. Characterized by an effortless elegance that goes hand-in-hand with the brand’s concept of casual luxury, her designs include a demi couture Atelier line, ready-to-wear and accessories. Tcherassi has also successfully ventured into the hospitality industry and has collaborated with important European luxury brands. The family-owned business founded by Tcherassi and her mother, Vera, owns and operates 10 boutiques in Europe, North America and South America as well as international presence through exclusive retailers around the world.
