Coperni is a Parisian ready to wear & accessories brand designed by Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer, established in 2013.

The brand infuses a thorough knowledge of embroidery techniques, streamlined with a linear sensibility that marries origami-like technique with a neat, ‘sportif’ silhouette.

The brand name Coperni was inspired by the works of the mathematician Nicolas Copernicus, who’s research on Heliocentrism inspired the designer’s visual world.

Coperni is now sold at 240 wholesale accounts worldwide

Who we’re looking for

Coperni is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Manager, based in London, with proven experience in designer and/or advance contemporary wholesale to drive Coperni’s growth, to start ASAP. You will be well connected, detail oriented, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strategic thinker. You will have a strong understanding of international markets and key players worldwide and you will have the ability to communicate multiple collections with energy and professionalism.

What your day to day will look like

· Wholesale account management

· Business development & negotiation (BP)

· Seasonal budget forecasting

· Support Coperni Sales Director with commercial strategy & business planning

· Work closely with Tomorrow Area Management teams, Designers and Brand leadership on regional planning & customer relationship management

· Showroom organisation / Set up

· Diary management, market preparation, and conducting showroom sales (Paris, Milan, Shanghai, NYC)

· Oversee seasonal order process

· Follow up on seasonal deliveries and payments, working closely with all Tomorrow support teams to provide optimum service and smooth communication with customers.

· Analyse, record, and act on sell through results optimising in season sales and performance (swaps, re-orders, incentives…)

· Identify opportunities to grow with and service key partners through exclusive capsules and/or special projects (highlights, pop ups, installations, events…)

· Work with Tomorrow Retail division and Coperni marketing team to support seasonal In-store product trainings and VM to retailers, and work with key customers’ marketing teams on tailored initiatives to support brand visibility and performance

· Feedback market intelligence to merchandising team and Coperni design and development team through deep dive end of season reporting, competitor analysis, and support with development and updates of seasonal range plan, and pricing strategy.

What you need to succeed

· Minimum 4-5 years designer/advance contemporary wholesale experience with a passion for sales and building relationships

· Experience in international sales is a must

· Proven track record of generating sales and building relationships

· Developed buyer relationships

· Negotiation skills

· Understanding of the financial and legal implications of setting up new business

· Excellent communication, written and verbal

· Attention to details and able to multitask

· Detailed reporting skills

· Strong analytical skills

· Problem solving, use of own initiative and drive

· Ability to work in autonomy

· Second language (French, Italian) preferred

· Regular international travels required
