Your role

As the Logistics Manager, you will act as an integral contributor to Tiffany & Co. by ensuring a reactive, flexible and cost-effective service to the stores in terms of logistics and to provide an optimised inventory in quantity and quality for Australia and New Zealand. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Oversee and support supply chain and logistics operations including customs clearance are fully compliant with import and export regulations
  • Ensure compliance of operations with laws and regulations, including customs, duty and cities requirements
  • Proactively work with customs brokers to ensure an efficient and effective process for import/export activities while optimizing costs and ensuring executions align with brand strategy
  • Partner with regional and corporate teams to ensure standardization of current and new processes including new systems implementation
  • Responsible for accurate and timely filings of duty & tax drwback whil ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Maintain relationships with internal departments and external parties to understand and anticipate business needs and provide solutions
  • Develop, maintain and execute local transportation procedures and proactively identify inefficiencies and implement initiatives to improve service, cost and efficiency
  • Oversee and monitor operational procedures to ensure market compliance in partnership with retail operations team
  • Implement and manage appropriate internal controls in relation to inventory an stock management within the store to ensure accurate stock is maintained
  • Responsible for monitoring all deliveries to the store, assist in the reduction of lead-time and optimize delivery frequencies
  • Stock movement reconciliations including daily stock discrepancies, stock take, family sales and month end closing enquiries
  • Support the Retail and Merchandising teams on the transfer of merchandise, Communications on events in the region and others if needed
  • Proactively recommend solutions and instruct freight forwarders and warehouse to ensure Brand's expectations and deadlines are met in a cost-effective way

Ideal candidate
  • 5+ years' experiencein retail logistics
  • Experience with international logistics and freight (including CITES)
  • Strong leadership experience
  • Easily able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on outcomes and improve the distribution process
  • Have strong analytical and financial skills coupled with an ability to influence outcomes
