The Assistant Merchandiser will support Lauren Accessories including Handbags, Small Leather Goods, and Belts. This role will be responsible for providing day to day merchandise activities to support the category merchant. Responsible for GFE system management, sample management, adoption/sales meeting materials, generate reports, and general merchandising support.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Execute and manage integrity of line definition in GFE+ - internal merchandising system; including accurate & timely data entry & system updates for all merchandising item definition and line changes · Distribute and maintain accurate Notes and Changes file to cross functional teams and regions. · Responsible for document creation and maintenance; line lists, adoption and sales meeting tools · Responsible for sample process including tracking all NY samples; Management of Marketing samples; managing to sample accuracy, tagging and labeling samples · Attend design meetings as directed by category merchant/manager · Knowledge of competition and trends · Assist in preparing all adoption, proto review, detailing meeting, and line opening materials. · Assist with ad hoc projects and work with the team as requests arise · Maintain and follow through on daily interaction with cross functional teams.
