JOB PURPOSE

The goal of the Regional Planning Manager is to take fiscal responsibility for inventory through strategic and controlled inventory management, actionable reporting, and insightful commercial analysis. The Regional Planning Manager achieves this by owning and managing the Rolling OTB for all divisions within Mainline and Digital (where applicable) as well as closely linking in with the Regional Outlet team on MD and delisted inventory management, The Manager is also responsible for producing and validating Collection OTB's ahead of market and aligning fiscal and seasonal sales and inventory targets from fiscal to product to focus store and cluster level. The Planning Manager thinks commercially, connects, collaborates and influences all functions, including Central Planning, Regional Merchandising, Marketing, Allocation, Logistic and Finance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers category sales, gross margin and turnover performance to plan
  • Fully align, partner and cooperate with the Merchandising, Allocation, Regional Finance and the Central Planning team in relation to OTB, lifecycle, Fiscal risks and opportunities, Markdown & Inventory Management
  • Own detailed Replenishment sales forecasts and work with Inventory management team on required inventory and procurement levels
  • Align with Finance on 2-year Rolling Budget incorporating Product strategies into Finance budgets including store
  • Develop, manage and forecast the Rolling Open to Buy to season, category level (FP/MD)
  • Develop and manage Collection OTB with Merchants for sales & inventory ahead of Market, including focus stores and Clusters
  • Partner with and communicate Collection and Rolling OTB's to Corporate & Divisional planning teams based in London
  • Identifies slow and best sellers in inventory, and respond to maximize sales and minimize risks
  • Creates opportunities for key talent in planning and establish an environment that fosters collaboration
  • Encourages and supports the development of our talented people. Offers honest and constructive feedback to direct reports and business partners fostering individual and group development


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Bachelor Degree / Master's Degree
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong Planning and Forecasting Skills
  • Decision making capability clearly driven by developing strategic product and business initiatives
  • High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • SAP a plus
