As a Senior Manager, Consumer APP, you will be responsible for building, developing and managing the PVH China in-store technology and digital technology. The candidate will be required to lead complex initiatives/projects in collaboration with various internal stakeholders & vendors; ensuring successful implementation through solid management of the SDLC; following PVH TPG internal project management practices. The ability to understand the retail and ECOM business operational requirements, and proposing a suitable technical solution is important. Also, ensuring that the solution is consistent with PVH internal audit and compliance guidelines.


  • Requirements & Product Roadmaps
    • Provide functional and technical recommendations to address business requirements including configuration
    • Translate business needs and functional requirements into technical specifications
    • Create technical system/integration diagrams
    • Partner with product managers on product roadmaps and backlogs
    • Review and provide feedback to test lead on test scripts/scenarios
    • Actively collaborate with teams to validate solution(s) throughout each sprint
    • Evaluate new IT developments and business requirements in order to recommend appropriate alternatives and/or enhancements to current processes or systems.

  • Liaison for systems related issues, requests, etc.
    • Communicate and work with Retail, ECOM & Digital team and engineering on all issues and needs
    • Coordinate new capability and feature prioritization with business owners and product managers
    • Craft and deliver presentations on new capabilities and enhancements to assigned platforms
    • Ensure systems architecture and integration maps are kept relevant and optimized
    • Design & engineer the application infrastructure to be reliable, efficient, and maintainable as aligned to PVH standards.
    • Define and measure key operational metrics including site performance, incidents, and recurring issues.
    • Review system and technical design documents with solution architects.
    • Ensure functional and business requirements are met and perform cross-functional inspection for processes and systems incompatibility.
    • Collaborate and participate in discussions with Infrastructure & Platform to ensure that the environment and application are operating in optimal fashion.

  • Vendor engagement
    • Manage the efforts around security and audit compliance for the region
    • Partner with the Retail, ECOM & Digital teams, PVH IT and external partners on planned releases, operation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the applications
    • Work with vendors on API specifications and involve in integration discussion and definition across different platforms
    • Ensure continuous improvement is embedded into daily operations and derive metrics to show case continuous improvement in process, configuration changes, deployments etc.
    • Partner with business and vendors to research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
    • Lead deployment plan reviews, engineering code reviews, application architecture reviews etc.
    • Support a dynamic, transformative technology landscape.

  • 10+ years of experience working in retail industry with a focus on technology
  • Strong experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver store technology solutions including but not limited to POS, Omini-Channel, CRM.
  • Strong experience working in cross-functional teams delivering digital technology solutions including but not limited to Middle Platform, OMS, ECOM Platforms.
  • Experience writing detailed user stories, and creating and maintaining a product backlog
  • Experience with high-volume, public facing, transactional web applications with high levels of availability with resilient application architecture, scalable infrastructure, technical operations automation, and 360 degrees of application performance monitoring.
  • Proven experience in prioritizing, presenting and executing plans with inherent change management practices, while meeting deadlines and operating under tight time constraints with a local or international scope.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency, thoroughness and quality towards assigned tasks/goals in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability working with and integrating multiple internal and/or external teams including outside technology and consulting design/technology agencies across multiple countries.
  • Uses innovative problem solving and critical thinking approaches to proactively solve a broad range of problems across technologies.
  • Knowledge of global business applications and technical platforms supporting systems technology requirements while understanding regional impacts and implications.
  • Experience working in matrixed teams responsible for influencing at all levels within the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to influence decision making at all levels within an organization
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts to varied audiences
  • Must be able to deal with a high degree of unknown and iteratively evolve solutions and platforms

Education: Bachelor's Degree in programming/systems or computer science, specialized training, or equivalent work experience required.
