Job Details

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
  • To cover both Commercial's and Supply's Treasury and Risk Management matters in the Asia Pacific region.
  • To manage day-to-day cash activities including cash movement, spot and forward foreign exchange booking (via 360T) and settlement (via Kyriba), short-term investment arrangement, regular cash balance, cash flow and foreign exchange reporting coordination, and cash pooling maintenance.
  • To establish, maintain, and close bank accounts by liaising with banks across countries, to arrange for appropriate account services, to maintain authorized signers lists, and to maintain bank account database/files and balances reports across countries in Asia Pacific.
  • To manage e-Banking users and authorizers' records management with Corporate Treasury.
  • To research, resolve, and respond to cash management-related inquiries with internal and external parties and banks.
  • To research, gather, compile and analyze data as well as create reports to support regional treasury operational decisions and drive improvements in cash management, develop and document procedures, and make policy recommendations utilizing knowledge of best practices, internal controls, and the company's business lines.
  • To coordinate risk management tasks with Corporate Risk Management team; to manage insurance policy update and liaise claims with among different business units and local insurance companies across countries in Asia Pacific as well as global broker and Corporate Risk Management team.
  • To assist Head of APAC Treasury and Risk Management in driving global and regional initiatives and projects

Functional Competencies:
  • Thorough knowledge of cash management and treasury functions and terminology.
  • Ability to work independently, excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Adopt and embrace change quickly within the organization and be able to think outside the box.
  • Familiar with basic accounting principles and legal concepts.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience & Education:
  • 7-10 years treasury related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or above


Skills:
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Cash Manager (CCM) designation is preferred.
  • Experience with Treasury Management and e-Banking platform/systems.
  • Knowledge in SAP or other ERP.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office software skills. Ability to build financial models is highly preferred.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
