We are looking for a team player, who will collaborate with our Design and Brand teams to understand seasonal needs and who will deliver against BOSS aesthetics while achieving ourtargets.

What you can expect:

• Proactive research considering collection briefing, market requirements, minimum quantities lead times and sustainability targets
• Reresponsible for the entire development of sustainable materials and innovations and the setup of the right conditions
• Concept Presentations to the Design and Development teams
• Virtual Trimming Development with Rhino, Simulation according to design briefing
• Sample ordering, leftover management, counter sourcing and price negotiations
• Support of the Design Team in relevant matters, first point of contact for questions around Sustainability
• Close collaboration with interfaces and suppliers
• Help develop cross-functional expertise, educate on sustainability topics
• PLM/SAP Data maintenance
• Core team member in dedicated task forces working on product related sustainability topics, e.g. circularity

Your profile:

• Academic degree in a relevant field, preferably Master Degree
• Successfully completed apprenticeship or studies in textile environment
• 2-3 years professional experience in raw material field in apparel industry
• Knowledge of fabrics and trimmings (production process, finishing and dying process, quality requirements, equipments) and the ability to understand design aesthetics and translate into materials
• experience in sustainability standards, chemical knowledge and experience with RSL
• Academic degree in a relevant field, preferably Master Degree
• Strong passion for sustainability and sustainable business practices
• Fluent English (verbal and written)
• Strong IT skills (Outlook, MS Office, PLM/SAP)
• Experience with digital weaving (CAD´s /Penelope)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Interpersonal competence and conflict management skills
