The Department & Team
CK Sportswear Menswear is a more elevated collection within the CK Brand.

Together with design and merchandise we create 4 collections a year working with vendors in both Europe as well as the Far East. The communication will mainly go through our SVC offices but there are still some direct vendors.

The Position

We are looking for a tailoring/ woven product developer, handling tailoring business, non-denim pants and neckwear. You will be responsible for the development from sketch until final product, working closely with design and merchandise.

The styles are developed within the nominated supplier matrix, aligning with the brand's aesthetic, quality and corporate responsibility standards. The key objective in this role is to manage this development process and making sure the KPI's are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure quality of product and achievement of margin targets throughout the product development process by collaborating closely with Off shore teams and direct vendors to get the best product, for the best price
  • Lead the initial sourcing initiatives from Creative Concept Launch, with the objective to foster sustainability and innovation and to ensure competitive price points.
  • Advising design on new developments.
  • Drive 3D process: fabric digitization 3D capacity planning, visual assessment, etc.
  • Responsible for product management throughout the development process, by attending key meetings and advising on possible improvements of product, quality and margins from start to finish
  • Negotiate FOB prices, ensuring margins are maintained for actual order quantities
  • Review bulk orders with Buying & Planning to ensure timeliness of style bookings for bulk delivery
  • Manage calendar deadlines
  • Data ownership


The Ideal Candidate:
  • Education: higher textile education (AMFI, Fashion and textile technology, TMO or similar)
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in development/sourcing/production
  • Understanding of the woven production and tailoring business/ constructions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to drive conversations with Vendors, Buying offices, Design and Development/Production stakeholders
  • A master at working under pressure with deadlines

  • Ability to travel for supplier visits
