JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a Market Executive to join our dynamic EMEIA wholesale team. The role will support the Senior Product & Market Manager in the organization of the wholesale campaigns from recruitment of temporary staff to a complete management of the showroom experience both in London & Paris. Acting as an ambassador for Burberry, you will have a solid background in the luxury environment, ideally working with showrooms and experience in recruitment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend Collection Presentation
  • Hosting markets 4 times a year in London and Paris
  • Daily presence in the Showroom to support teams & ensure smooth appointments
  • Producing market tools for seasonal sales & train temporary staff on tools
  • Work with wholesale teams to understand commercial ambitions and targets for market
  • Own the showroom experience in London and Paris (VM, catering, models...)
  • Attend monthly market meeting with Showroom team
  • Point of contact for showroom team
  • Prepare local teams for market
  • Manage showroom schedule in London and Paris
  • Working with showroom team to understand market structure
  • Liaise with showroom team regarding appointment allocation
  • Support commercial team in Managing temp admin team
  • Support in uniform needs
  • Discuss and work closely with finance on market budget and forecasting
  • Manage timesheets and make sure the seasonal team schedule is shared with payroll for payment
  • Support Senior Manager to gather feedback regarding market
  • Prepare market debrief to share with Showroom team
  • Manage all aspects related to seasonal from uniform, attendance, sickness
  • Post market reviews talent feedback
  • Partner with Showroom 365 stakeholders on development of & improvement of the tool
  • Work with PM to ensure all partners are set up on system prior to market
  • Liaison between Whs and SR365 team during market
  • Support the Senior Manager on the improvements of the tool
  • Work with teams to establish needs for the market (sales managers + market admins)
  • Liaise and work with Resourcing and HR to recruit staff
  • Validate with Senior Manager the headcount for each market + list of candidates
  • Support the teams in managing the contracts for temporary resource
  • Ensure team is engaged with learning and development
  • Leavers form once market finishes
  • Manage access, hardware and software for all seasonal staff
  • Work with IT to make sure the staff are ready in terms of IT
  • Collating log ins, emails and details to share with commercial team
  • Monitoring performance of virtual selling tool and escalating any issues to SR management team
  • Showroom capacity management - working with SR team on post covid plans and return to physical showroom environment
  • Calendar management between SR and Whs teams for market schedule - defining days required by region
  • Strategic prioritisation of regional showroom requirements


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Experience in working within the luxury fashion industry, preferably within wholesale
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Previous experience in managing and recruiting teams, and driving performance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Autonomous, team player, flexible who can adapt to changes
