The Account Manager, reporting to the VP of Global Sales, will be managing the business development and brand positioning in wholesale for all product categories. This position will be responsible for brand management, operations, profitability, sell-in and sell-out performance in respective accounts. This is a hybrid role and will require some domestic & international travel.



POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

Business Management

  • Monitor & evaluate business opportunities & challenges in product assortment & markets
  • Develop business plans to drive growth in new and existing accounts
  • Maintain regular communication with accounts (buying office, stores) to deepen understanding of demographic / market needs & trends
  • Foster relationships with global sales counterparts & cross-functional depts
  • Collaborate with global sales team on seasonal deliverables such as markdowns, competitive studies, hindsight analysis (market, end of season), etc.
  • Liaise with NY headquarters & accounts to coordinate marketing-related activities
  • Assist Order Management, Logistics, & Accounts Receivable in shipping & payment follow-up
  • Ensure optimal brand presence online & in-store visual merchandising
  • Conduct seasonal collection trainings


Reporting & Analysis

  • Compile & analyze weekly & monthly sales reporting
  • Market preparation analysis – OTB, sales, inventory, on-order
  • Ad-hoc analysis to support sound decision-making & business action plans
  • Track & report ROI on expenses such as co-op advertising & selling incentives


Market Support (4 markets per year)

  • Assist in market set-up preparation
  • Plan & lead selling presentation for virtual & showroom appointments
  • Assess & influence buys based on business trends & merchandising guidelines
  • Partner with Order Management team on order entries & final order validation




  • Minimum Education: 4 Year college degree
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 3+ years in fashion wholesale and/or retail buying
  • Advanced knowledge of financial KPI and retail buying metrics, analytical and data-driven
  • Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter / thought leader with a team player attitude
  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize & operate efficiently
  • Strong attention to details & deadlines
  • Passion for the brand with good product and fashion awareness of competitive brand and retail landscape

In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the potential salary for this position is from $75,000 to $87,000, which represents a range commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills required.
