POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assistant Designer will support the Women's Calvin Klein Underwear Design Team from initial concept through product delivery. They will support design team members in creation of CADs, fabric/lace developments, fittings, presentations, and working alongside key cross-functional partners throughout the design development process.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
  • CAD work for style development
  • Initiate tech packs and updates in Centric throughout all stages of design development process
  • Support design team in strategy/concept and line adoption stages
  • Support design team in maintaining/organization of styles, trims, and development library
  • Support design team in all presentation preparations and during presentations
  • Work cross channels with Global Supply Chain partners for follow up and development of raw materials, concepts, protos, etc.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising team of specific needs and updates on seasonal Deck
  • Collaborate and follow up on deliverables and deadlines with all cross-functional partners throughout the design process
  • Prepare materials for meetings and presentations in a timely, organized manner

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:
  • Assistant/freelance/internship experience preferred
  • Knowledge of intimate apparel, sleepwear, loungewear design and construction preferred


Education: BA/BFA

Skills:
  • Exceptional talent with commercial eye and detail in product styling
  • Highly motivated, passionate, and results-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task, drive for problem solving, and react with speed and agility
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of Centric System and building of Bill of Materials
  • Strong CAD skills in creating foundations CADs/Blocks, lace and trim rendering, detailed styling updates, and CAD recolors

Pay Range: $51,500 - $70,000
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
