Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager, you will identify appropriate potential vendors, can get to decision makers, create and deliver pitch materials, and onboard new accounts onto our platform. To be successful in this role, you must be social, analytical, possess an aptitude for learning and using new software, and be able to communicate clearly and effectively.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Customer relationship management to establish and develop relationships with relevant decision makers within customer organizations to create additional opportunities for For Days Own the entire on-boarding process to streamline the process internally and in partnership Monitor Vendor Partner sites for promotions, new product launches Work with the customer service team on return and customer feedback, relay learnings to vendors and adjust targets accordingly Negotiate between brand partners and the organization and manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure success Support clients beyond their expectations, undertake client service reviews on a regular basis (3 to 6 months) to ensure client satisfaction and up to date assortments  Strategize and research market trends in the apparel industry Hit or exceed agreed revenue budgets and win new partnerships Constantly monitor the marketplace and identify new prospects or re-prioritize existing prospects Maintain and constantly update an accurate CRM of prospect information and contact details Provide accurate forecasts and detailed pipeline analysis as require


What You Bring To For Days

  • 3+ years experience in or knowledge of the Fashion or Beauty Industry as an Account Executive or internal Sales Representative
  • At least 2+ years e-commerce, Shopify backend preferred
  • Knowledge of Marketplace apps preferred but not required
  • Merchandising experience preferred but not required
  • A book of business or contacts within Fashion/ Lifestyle/Beauty industry
  • Passion for new concepts, sustainability, and fashion
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and move quickly while prioritizing to stay on target
  • Positive attitude, self-driven and proactive nature
  • Highly organized, able to multi-task, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High computer literacy and ability to learn new software
