Position Summary:
The Manager International Transportation will be responsible for coordinating all ocean, air and logistics activities for shipments of globally sourced product. This includes procurement, contract and operational management, and tracking of those shipments into all warehouses.

The Manager International Transportation will be responsible for coordinating all ocean, air and logistics activities for shipments of globally sourced product. This includes procurement, contract and operational management, and tracking of those shipments into all warehouses.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead a team of professionals to manage the international transportation network of 10-15 service providers to ensure compliance with PVH requirements & guidelines through QBR's, metrics, and SOP adherence
- Drive cost effective transportation decisions through route optimization & effective container utilization, while maintaining On-Time Delivery to PO Need By Dates
- Utilize volume forecasts and booking reports for capacity planning management to ensure product departs origin on-time
- Manage transportation allocation plan to ensure contractual obligations are met
- Leverage market intelligence and networking relationships to proactively understand global transportation environment to prepare for necessary changes and/or escalations of risk to business
- Maintain provider transit compliance and make adjustments/changes as necessary
- Collaborate with cross-functional peers to drive performance and problem resolution
- Communicate with Hub offices to ensure compliance to logistics processes
- Assist in negotiating competitive ocean & air freight agreements in support of PVH Transportation provider procurement strategy
- Support divisions with transit, cost, and market intelligence
- Lead tactical implementations of strategic initiatives
- Work with Sr. Director in setting and executing annual goals and objectives
- General staff administration, including training and development plans
Serve as first level escalation point for department
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of international transportation experience required and at least 2 years in a management level position required
- Bachelors degree in logistics or related field required
- Must be well versed with MS suite applications
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- ability to communicate effectively to team and cross-departmentally
- adapt to problem solving through process/data analysis
- strong negotiation skills, able to maintain/leverage industry relationships
- ability to manage rates/contracts/invoicing process
